Rev. Penelope Hamilton
Will perform your wedding at your choice of venue.
I believe that all people should be offered the chance to be married in a manner that suits their particular beliefs and understanding. I encourage each couple to write their own vows, if they wish. Or they may choose the more traditional version of the wedding ceremony. I am happy and willing to perform "mixed" marriages and incorporate both customs and traditions into the ceremony. I am also willing to perform same-sex blessings.

I believe that a wedding ceremony, or indeed any type of worship, should be uplifting, full of joy, and meaningful. Every couple I have married has commented on how special they felt their wedding day was and how much fun. Many of the weddings I performed in the US were in gardens, hotels, private homes, and special function facilities (there are few ancestral homes older than 50 years) as well as in the more traditional setting of the church.
I am somewhat of a traditionalist at heart but fully believe in a down-to-earth approach to people's spirituality. I try not to use the word "religion" since it has often been used to marginalize and hurt. I love worship, I love laughter, joy, fun, movement, and, most importantly, I love to encourage others to enjoy their special day; one which I pray will live in their hearts during good times and bad.
